Damn, still 2 days more until they release it here.

sims 3 makes me sad.   I don't want my sim to get old.  In sims 2 you could buy these water-jugs of life to keeep your age down, but there is no stopping it in Sims 3.   your sim gets old and die.   ('cause my fav part is getting my sim to a good job then building the biggest most crazy house I can for him/her)

Well the main page says Beta testing will still be in June, but according to the Dev Journals it was pushed back.

I know  GameSpot.com  still has  Elemental:WoM  listed as an  RTS  game   as well.

??? You can set options to stop aging and even the level of stupidity of your sims (from total puppets to some independent attitude).

My sister loves to build uber houses. I prefer more modest and functional designs.

And no problems having E:WoM being listed as RTS... SoaSE is a RPG for some after all.

Isn't that Stardock's call to make, and haven't they already been clear that Elemental is *not* an RTS game?

And if the answer to that question is "no," I can think of one other problem: the misinformation will (has already?) generate forum noise from people who think it is an RTS or hope to browbeat the devs into making it so.

As I said also in that same sentence, SoaSE is also a RPG for some stores. Don't ask me why. The seriousness of my statement in that post is up to you..

The Elemental beta got pushed back since the senior devs had to be pulled over to Demigod for the past month or two.

Beg pardon, I thought GameSpot was a review site and your "some" about SoaSE was "some people" and not "some stores."

Well, any official confirmation about the beta delay?

katabroc: yep, you have to wait now. About official confirmation about the beta delay, I'd take Kryo's post (for example) as one of them. How much has been delayed? Who knows. Maybe late june, maybe early july...

Understandable. But would it be a matter of weeks or months?
