As far as I know they are always integrated into the main video card driver. There is no separate downloadable driver.

What kind of problem are you having?

Well Im trying to run an older game call 911 First Responders and I get a big graphics problem. When the levels load the screen starts "tear" in a circle and flash random lines of color. This is the only game that does this. My videocard is Radeon X1950 Pro with 256mb of memory and the game requires 64mb. I think the game wont use my refresh rate but I got no way to force it expect lowering my resolution to 800 x 600 and I got a 20 inch flat srceen.

'Except', not 'expect'. FYI

Is your 20" widescreen?

Can you run the game in 'windowed' mode? Because it sounds like your monitor's acceptable resolutions may not be compatible with the game's expected resolutions. I doubt that the refresh rate is the deciding factor, because LCD's don't usually go very high with the refresh rate. You are using a newer generation of monitor than the game has capability for.

GalCiv2 has the option (in the Options/Video screen) of running either in fullscreen or windowed mode. If this game has that option, try the windowed mode. If it doesn't, well, it simply may not run on your newer hardware.

You could also try running the game in 'Compatibility mode' to an earlier version of Windows. (right-click the launch icon and choose Properties. Then select the 'Compatibility' tab and set it for another version)

Well I switch the compatibility mode and it helps alittle but still crashes like crazy.

"911 First Responders" ( only called so in North America ) is called "Emergency 4: Global Fighters for Life" by the German producer/creator Sixteen Tons Entertainment )... the game is using directX9... so you have no use of opengl...

Visit http://www.emergency4.de/en/ and ask info on their forum...
